DV-Aware

Learn how to recognise and respond to someone experiencing domestic and family violence.

DV-Aware sessions are a two-hour interactive presentation where individuals and groups can talk about the issue of domestic and family violence and what you can do to help make a difference.

The sessions cover what domestic and family violence is, the cycle of violence, and what you can do if you know someone who is experiencing domestic and family violence.

How it works

Format: Two-hour awareness session.

Resources: DV-Aware is a funded program of DV-alert, delivered by Lifeline Corporate Training. To check if you are eligible, visit www.dvalert.org.au. If you are not eligible for these funded programs, please make contact to engage us directly for a fee.

Outcome: You’ll walk away with a basic understanding of the issues and tools that will guide you to recognise the signs, providing you with the foundations to assess what you can do to prevent domestic and family violence.
