Speech Pathology – sometimes called speech therapy – is a health profession that supports people to communicate through speech or other means, such as using assistive devices, Key Word Sign, communication books and much more. Speech Pathologists also assist people with social skills, eating and drinking.

How our Speech Pathologists can help

Our Speech Pathologists work alongside people who have a disability and their families in their home and community in Brisbane and surrounding areas, including Ipswich, the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Warwick. We support you to develop skills, build relationships and use communication tools (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) to live an inclusive and meaningful life.


Our Speech Pathologists also support people who have difficulties with eating, drinking and swallowing. We will work with individuals and the people around them to help them experience mealtimes that are safe and enjoyable.
