Workplace is a business communication tool where we communicate, connect and collaborate. It empowers you to do your best work, as part of one UnitingCare.
To ensure Workplace buzzes with quality conversation which respects all our people:
Respect your audience
We all appreciate respect, and regardless of whether you’re interacting in person or in the virtual world, the same standards hold true.
A rule of thumb is to engage on Workplace as you would your real workplace. Treat your colleagues with respect and engage in constructive and positive ways.
Consider Workplace’s purpose
Workplace is a business communication tool.
Do: maintain relationships, respectfully share your opinions, pose questions and thoughts, create employee events and interest groups, and share updates or calls-to-actions.
Don’t: share sensitive or confidential work information, store documents, personal information or promotional content, express negativity in a destructive manner, or impose your opinion on others.
It’s on you!
You are personally responsible for the content you contribute in Workplace. Make sure you review everything you share, and are comfortable with the content you post.
As an employee, we know you will have read our Social Media Policy and Code of Conduct so we know your contribution on Workplace will meet UnitingCare standards. Find these on the Intranet.
Be aware of confidentiality and security
Workplace is a third party program, and by signing up you understand your data and information may be used by Workplace as per their privacy policy.
These UnitingCare policies also apply to the use of Workplace: UnitingCare Acceptable Use Policy, Information Security Policy and Privacy Management. They can be found on the Intranet.
Be a pro
Your profile represents you in the workplace, professionally. Take time to upload a picture of yourself so your colleagues can ‘put a face to a name’ and ensure details in your Workplace profile are current.
