As an organisation, our commitment to protecting the health and wellbeing of our staff, clients, patients and residents is unwavering.

In a continuation of that commitment, UnitingCare Queensland has announced today it will require all employees and volunteers be vaccinated with two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine by December 10 2021.

Health and scientific evidence worldwide shows that vaccination is the most effective line of defence in preventing severe illness and death from COVID-19, alongside health and safety practices.

This vaccination requirement will expand upon our current safety procedures, precautions and controls that ensure we meet our safety obligations and help protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our people, volunteers, patients, residents and clients when they access our services.
