Find Lifeline Donation Bin near you
Thank you so much for your donation!
Let us take your pre-loved clothing and household items off your hands!
We have almost 800 Lifeline donation bins dotted all over Queensland, so it's likely there's one near you.
Please always donate responsibly — dumping at Lifeline bins is a costly exercise for us with funds being used for waste disposal instead of funding the 24-hour Lifeline 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line.
How to make your donation count for Lifeline
- Ensure the items you wish to donate are placed in a bin operated by Lifeline — where ALL proceeds raised help support the 24-hour Lifeline 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line
- Ensure the items are good quality and can be re-sold in our shops
- Make sure your donation goes inside the bin. Items left outside bins can be damaged by the weather and can be stolen before they can be collected
If any of your donations do not fit in the bin please drop them off at your local Lifeline Shop during opening hours or get in touch to arrange for a pick-up.
What can you put in the Lifeline donation bins?
We accept good quality, wearable clothes, shoes, accessories and bedding with no rips, stains or tears. Acceptable products include men's, women's and children's clothing and accessories such as shoes and handbags that you would wear again.
We are unable to accept broken or damaged items, or clothing with broken zippers or stains. We do not accept white goods, electrical items or mattresses at Lifeline donation bins. Donations of furniture and bulky goods MUST NOT be left beside Lifeline bins. Please arrange a pick-up from your home for such items.
